Synopsis
Drushya Adrushya is a mystery-thriller drama that builds its story around a disturbing disappearance during a seemingly normal picnic. What starts as a missing child case slowly expands into something much deeper—touching fear, belief, hidden guilt, and long-buried secrets within families and the system.
The film is directed by Milind Lele, and it tries to balance emotional storytelling with investigative suspense. The core idea is engaging: a small incident triggering a chain of psychological and social revelations. The setting keeps the tension grounded, and the narrative aims to blur the line between what is seen and what is “adrushya” (invisible).
Where the film works is its atmosphere. The slow-burn approach gives space to the mystery, and some investigative sequences feel realistic rather than overly cinematic. The performances from the cast, including Pooja Sawant and Suvrat Joshi, add weight to emotional scenes, especially when the story focuses on family pressure and fear rather than just the investigation.
However, the film struggles with consistency in pacing. Certain portions feel stretched, and the suspense is not always evenly maintained. At times, the screenplay becomes predictable, reducing the impact of its central mystery. The emotional subplots are meaningful but occasionally interrupt the momentum of the thriller.
